Gold Camp road in Colorado Springs follows the formerly used Short Line railroad from Colorado Springs to Cripple Creek. The road winds up Eagle Rock Mountain, through two tunnels open to automobiles. From there hiking trailheads can be accessed.

History: This street near Cheyenne Mountain is rumored to have been the site of a tragic school bus accident, leading to the untimely deaths of many passengers. Local legends claim the now closed off (but accessible for those who don't mind a hike) third tunnel is the home of the restless spirits of schoolchildren taken from this earth far too early.

Phenomena: Reports of paranormal encounters include the sound of laughter, unexplainable scratch marks, and the sensation of pulling on clothes. Most of these reports come from those visiting the third tunnel, however some reports are specific to the car-accessible second tunnel. Claims exist of small hand prints appearing on fogged car windows, and even cars in neutral being pushed uphill.
